What We do?
Middleton Farm is well known for its colorful and orderly displays of an abundance of produce. Buyers flock to the stand for berries, asparagus and garlic, each in its own season. From Bay Area restaurants to local farmers markets, the business has its staunch allies who purchase their organically grown fruits and vegetables.
Our History
Over 60 years old…
Middleton Farm was founded over sixty years ago when Healdsburg was known for hops and prune orchards. It is one of the few original farms that remained in operation as Healdsburg transitioned from a produce center into a thriving wine region. The farm straddles the Westside and Dry Creek areas of Healdsburg, in the center of Sonoma County. Bordered by Mill Creek, the land on Middleton Farm is enriched not only by 60 years of sustainable farming but also by the waters of Mill Creek drainage. The farm consists of 8 acres of vegetables, flowers, and fruit, with a focus on berries and an apple and peach orchard.
…1980s through 2014…
The farm was started by the Middleton family, but its reputation was established by Nancy and Malcolm Skall who owned and operated Middleton from the late 1980s through 2014. The Skalls put into place a structured, formal farming system based on organic production standards, with a dedication to producing only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

The Woods Family
Middleton Farm was purchased in 2015 by Montgomery and Annie Woods. With the help of farm manager Sam Calderon, the Woods are committed to continuing the Middleton Farm tradition of growing excellent, certified organic produce for local restaurants, schools, and individuals.
